5 Ways of Maintaining Inner Strength

The many challenges in life can either knock us or help us to become stronger.

So how can we be sure to be maintaining our inner strength?

The following five ways are perspectives that can help you do just that;

  1. Maintain a positive approach- always seek the positive in any situation. Look for it and you will find it.
  2. See the opportunity – in every challenge there is an opportunity. Find it and allow it to work for you.
  3. Stay empowered – always stay focused on what is within your power to do and what you can make happen from any single circumstance.
  4. Give yourself time to transform any situation- the magic is in the space to both wait and create.
  5. Be open to all possibility as we never know what may come from any situation and this will help you to see and create much more.

Enjoy the possibilities and get creating, things are never simply black or white, they are always a blend of both. Every time you overcome and transform a situation it helps to build and maintain your inner strength.

Building Up

Building up in our training is very much an individual thing, however there are a few helpful rules you can apply to assist the process.

  1. Gradual progression; take your training step by step and listen to your body, as you gradually add more weight and variation to your exercises.
  2. Pace your training; remember to get adequate rest days, at least 1 per week for recovery and to alternate your training so you’re not overtraining the same muscle groups. Recovery is as important as the work itself.
  3. Stay focused; staying focused on your path of progression is important and to do this you have to keep it interesting. Vary your workouts, keep your favourite music on and keep track of your progress.
