5 top tips to exercise consistently

To achieve your exercise goals, consistency is key. Here are my 5 top tips to help you exercise consistently so you can be sure to see and feel the difference.

1.Be clear on you outcomes, both short and long term– rather than goals set intentions for outcomes as to how it will help you and remain focused on the short term first as the long term will come along with these.

2. Set Daily plans – schedule in your workouts as a regular pattern, make it as consistent as any other regular daily routine.

3. Prioritise – For your exercise to become and remain consistent it has to be a priority, stick to it like any other important commitment or appointment.

4. Focus on the feel good factor– Almost immediately your energy and mood will lift from exercising. Focus on this to keep your motivation levels high.

5.Connect– whether it be with others, your goal, motivation or however you choose to stay consistent, stay connected to it and maintain your focus, joy and enthusiasm. 😊

Stay consistent, enjoy the process and feel the difference 🙏💛💫

Coping with Stress

Coping with stress is something many of us have to manage on a daily basis, as we are thrown in to situations that can be challenging or difficult to cope with.

So what are some of the best ways of coping with stress.?

  1. Balance– having a good work/life balance is essential, make sure you get enough time for you.
  2. Exercise– stressful situations can create excess energy, which can then be discharged healthily and in a positive way through exercise. By doing this you are making these situations work to your benefit.
  3. Relaxation/Mediation– having a daily practice of relaxation and meditation can help you perform well under pressure, as having a calm mindstate that will come more naturally to you.

Explore other ways and options and find what way works best for you. Stress can work positively for us as well as negatively and it’s important to make it work for you. Following strategies that can make all the difference and ultimately put you in charge of the situation.

To your healthiest and best 🙏

Maintaining Balance

Seek balance in daily life

Finding balance in our lives is a constant re-adjustment. As we are always changing and life is always changing, how much we need to give or recieve in certain areas is always adjusting.

With this, our mindset has to readjust also and sometimes we may experience a lag. We may perceive that we need more than we do based on past experiences or give more than we need to for the same reason, or to strive for something that is not necessary for our lives.

In finding balance our bodies and minds are the best signal, if we are out of balance and giving too much in a certain area we will be certain to feel the symptoms, such as fatigue or stress and if left too long this can worsen.

The first step to finding or refinding our balance then is to listen to ourselves and the feedback our body is giving and then make the adjustments accordingly.

We may need to either reduce or increase certain activities to find our balance again.

Another helpful practice can be to sit down and reevaluate our goals and see what still fits with where we are now and where we want to be. As we grow and change our goals will naturally change and/or we can find a different path.

Lastly trust your inner self, your intuition above all, it will always guide you to what is right for you and the correct balance in your life.

Enjoy the search, the growth and the process,

We are all a part of nature

And nature always seeks to find balance
